From what I've read 560 Ti should be a reasonable choice for two hundred euros, but after that I am lost.
I have now had several Club3D cards and nothing to complain so I would like to stick with the brand. However I could only find 1 GB cards, whereas I found this one:
Gainward GTX 560Ti Phantom 2048MB Dual-DVI/VGA/HDMI 10606 255,00 €

Is Gainward any good and does 2 GB make sense.

My other options would be
Club 3D CGNX-XT56024 (Mini-HDMI, 2x DVI) for 189 eur

Or

Club 3D GTX560 Ti CoolStream OC (Mini-HDMI, 2x DVI) for 206 eur
But this one seems to be on a short supply.

I don't know if OC is much of a use or that extra 1 GB or should I save and take the one for 189 EUR
I think a-10 will be next on my simlist and rof

I know in the early nVidia 7xxx series days I had the same dilemma on what to get; a 256mb or 512mb and after one year; hell I was glad I paid that extra to put that 512mb version in my rig.

It all depends on what for game and which resolution you are gaming. If it is high settings RoF on a 1920x1200 resolution I would go for the 2Gb. For the nVidia GPU I would go for the faster 560-ti version.

There is also one 2Gb 560-ti from PoV http://www.pointofview-online.com/showroom.php?shop_mode=product_detail&product_id=247

Those were all 560 Ti that I listed - I think that's where I am already heading, I am just wondering that OC bit, anything indicating overclocking and stuff seem to be more or less on short supply or sold out - I don't know whether that's worth it, however (overclocking still sounds to me compromise on endurance).

Thanks for the POV tip, my favourite retailer would have it for 220 EUR, there is another from POV with "charged" for 240 EUR (probably OCd as well)...

I have the Gigabyte GTX560Ti OC - they only came with 1GB when I bought mine (just after release) but I would have gone for a 2GB if one was avaiable.

I would say always go for the max available as far as VRAM is concerned, even if you don't need it now - you never know what stuff is just around the corner and will need it.

I'm mega-impressed with the card. Been using the Red Ones for a few years now, but this green job really does the bizz in every sim I own.

Never been above 50°C either (it comes with a custom twin fan cooler).

Cost me £180 from Overclockers.

I am anyway all for Nvidia, since I mainly use Linux. I had such a grief with ATI years back
(should be better today of course), I won't go back since NVidia has never let me down ever since.

I ordered the 2GB POV card, without overclocking - let's see how it runs. Lost my resolve anyway and
ordered the last missing components HD and cooler as well, now I can hopefully get my rig up and
running next week.

Let me know by pm at this forum or official RoF forum how this card is running at max settings on full-hd resolution, playing RoF. I'm considering also a new Vcard to exchange my HD4890-1Gb. Would like to go for the GTX570, which beats the HD6970 in price, only I'm afraid that after a couple of graphic updates in RoF the 1.25Gb Vram will be to low.

No problem, only I think RoF purchase is still few months in the future. First I want to see what I can get out of Black Shark with proper settings and then I am going to decided between A10 and RoF. RoF might win though for multiplayer but I am still not sure
