Agree totally with Troll about the Tamiya and Kinetic kits. It's really going to come down to what version and block F-16 you need for those ANG decals. I have always wanted to do a 1/48th F-16A Block 15 ADF in the livery of the North Dakota 119th ANG "Happy Hooligans ". I have the decals but no one makes the F-16A Block 15 ADF varient right now (Revell did at one time, but it's pretty crude by todays standards). So I have to do some kit bashing using Academys F-16A/C as my base, Hasegawas F-16A kit and even some parts from the Revell F-16A ADF kit (Italeri also has a F-16A Block 15 kit). I could have saved a lot of time with Cutting Edges F-16A ADF resin coversion kit (works for the Academy/Hasegawa/Italeri kits) but unfortunately it's OOP. I just about ready to roll on this kit but knowing my luck as soon as I start someone (probably Kinetic) will release an F-16A ADF
Also try to find a good F-16 reference book on the F-16 varient you want to replicate, the F-16 has undergone many Block changes since it was first rolled out. I thought the P-47 & P-51 were bad with the block varients, they pale in comparission to the F-16
