Looks like a blend of an action game with a racing game. I like it; I like that they are trying something new. Hopefully they do a good job with it.

Mirrors Edge meets NFS Underground

What bothers me is that these action sequences - same as the new Jurassic Park Game - are now so casual that you are only required to "press button at right time to win". Are we going back to the old Live Movie Gameplay style (SWAT for example was such a game...)

Yeah, they're not that much fun. Honestly that whole on-foot action part could've been a cutscene and it would've been better.

If all of the non-driving parts of the game are like that, then they might have trouble.

Ah yes, that's the term I was missing. In older games, these QTEs were part of minigames. Now they are the game? The worldwide player base must get dumber and dumber each year.
