Nice presentation at ISR from E3.
-Top Gear all over the place, this should be fun!
-Forza 3 import based on your career.
-FOV is still not how I like it, but with any luck there will be the adjustment work around like Forza 3.
-Track day set up! Something I specifically wanted for the 'ring and had to kind of fake in Forza 3, I can't wait to see this.

ya i watched that whole episode... great info.

He did say they moved the view up and back a little to be able to see more of the track in cockpit view.

I like the challenge friends events... even mentioned a Demolition Derby series,. lol

now they put Drag Racing in FM3, but it sucked because their was no red light, take off incidences since you didn't have control till green, (something Shift 2 actually did pretty good), wondering if they addressed that.

And the best thing about FM4 and the Top Gear track - they, unlike GT5, has the 'reasonably priced car' in the game!

Yeah this Trackday feature got a big woohoo from me too, I just hope they let us do more than the 1 lap they showed in the video... reliving those 'ring trackday videos you see on youtube will surely keep me as busy as I've spent a good portion of my GT5 running the 'ring in practice and the canned AMG trackday events.

Really looking forward to that... as Pfunk asked, how great would it be if you could setup that trackday mode online, where you are hotlapping online with others in the middle of AI? Probably not happening but that sure would be fun.

what I liked is that community share thing... I'll start a SimHQ group day 1 of course... then you can buy cars and put them in the community garage... anyone in group can tune, paint, or use the car...even when others offline... thats cool.

Yeah FM3 already had GT5 beat in those community features (other than that GT5 B-Series remote event feature, I never really got into much), I'd rather be able to trade car setups and paint anyday, FM4 looks to be taking it up a big notch.

Nice, good sounds for the muscle cars (compared to GT5's sewing machine sounds on them).

Count me in for the SimHQ club and paints.

Wouldn't it be nice to have track day set ups and something like the Autolog in Shift 2?
Set up a sign up sheet for friends, a track, car/class/performance index, setup and tuning limitations...give people ______ days or weeks to see who gets the best time. Like an offline race, run when you get the time to do so.

As for sharing paint jobs, if you all like solid silver, solid red, solid white, solid black, solid blue....I can set you up. I go for the basics. neaner
