A little bit more notice for this one. On the 18th June the Average Drivers Club will be hosting an open class (GT, NGT, G2, G3) event running at Le Mans.

It was fun getting back into GTR2. The Virtua_LM team did a good job with that track. I haven't run on it in awhile. I did some practice and qualifying. It was a bit frustrating as I could never get a handle on the car.

On the first lap, at the end of the Mulsanne, I was following Doni, although not too close. I thought I braked early enough, but apparently I didn't. I was on the brakes for a long time, but couldn't stop. Luckily Doni was on the outside and didn't turn in. I straight off the track and he completed the turn behind me. On the second lap, I was turning into Indianapolis, but was carrying too much speed and clouted the barrier and the car died on me. It was fun, but as I predicted to Rob, I was out within 10 laps. sigh
