cool, thx for sharing... but I learned trying to use TrackIR on PC racing games... makes it alot more difficult to drive a line. lol
Maybe that guy should fasten down that pedal unit, he almost kicked it off.... but cool feature for those who want it.

I personally dont like how they are using a discontinued wheel to play their Premiere Racing title..... that shows the lack of anything new coming.
I think he had it tied down on the sides....

I noticed the pedals too. They need to secure them on a Wii balance board like I did. Best use for that thing. Head tracking in racing is just disorienting to me, like the "look to apex" features some have. I'd much rather see this feature showcased in the Birds of Prey sequel or Apache---THAT is where head tracking would be useful. I still wonder if they can use Kinect in conjunction with a fully utilized controller. Seems like they may have just mapped the right stick to Kinect. I want to see a controller, fully assigned to functions, and Kinect running at the same time. Maybe when the Steel Battalion game comes out, I'd like to see that in the E3 coverage.

It looks like it has a lot of lag from when he moves his head to when the camera moves.

There is no Right thumbstick when using a wheel Exactly what I mean. It's not really being used as a second controller. They broke up the controls on a 360 game pad, putting the unused right stick function on the Kinect. In other words, this is not yet hopeful for a game that makes full use of a controller to ALSO let the gamer user Kinect for head tracking. I want to play Apache, using all functions on the controller and *also* have head tracking. I don't think they can do that, or at least not yet. As for lag, you want some deadzone or a less sensitive area when looking forward or you move the view around too much, making driving near impossible.

hehe, somepeople will say that's a brand new technology and it has never been used before. Seriously, Nice video I'd like to see Birds of steel using head tracking

I have used trackir for years and that does not look like a very good implementation of head tracking. I hope they can clean it up by release.
