Hi all,

I'm looking for three free keys. One for voice comms (teamspeak/skype), another to reset head tracking, and another for "freezing" head tracking. I kept trying to click a virtual cockpit button and my head kept moving around...

Hi Xptical

I use my middle mouse button (scroll wheel) to freeze TrackIR to allow me to do fiddly button pressing. Do you have any spare buttons/hat switches on your controller that you could assign the teamspeak function? For resetting head tracking I just use the default F12.

If it has to be key strokes, I'd just look through the assignments in FSX and see which ones you could live without and reassign them.

Cheers

I've looked around for a good keymap for FSX. Sadly, I can't find one.

As far as I know, the controls menu offers the possibility to print the key assignment.

CTRL+SHIFT+[number] combinations are not occupied by default either.
