The Event wasn't so bad, a bit corny in bits but OK. It moved along quite well and covered a lot of ground for 1 season.
A nice cliffhanger at the end too, shame we never got to see the "Event" tho.
It could probably be cut down to a mini series and be very entertaining.

Will the Visa Capital One Vikings be cast for the show? Yes, because it's a spin-off of the Geico cavemen series. Who, I hear, will make a cameo appearance on the pilot episode to "pass the torch," as it were.

Yes, the final ep of the Event promised some interesting things ahead. Also we were finally told in broad terms what "the event" was, although earlier trailers made it seem like it was going to be global extinction and then was not!
