Chasing the sun ... a losing battle while in a Luscombe, but interesting view none the less.

Early morning test flight in proper OTU colours. Quick flight around Duxford, up to 15,000ft and down in time for breakfast.

This is a FSX screenshot of a P-51D donning Bud Anderson's "Old Crow" 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group paint scheme. It's the A2A Simulations AccuSim P-51D for FSX. Using their paintkit, I added the Old Crow logo, letters, and labels following very closely to some dated photo's of Jack Roush's P-51D Old Crow, now owned by Mr. Jim Hagedorn. A renown WWII pilot has been added (photoshop'd) to the screenshot for an additional effect.

.

Below, this is a comparison between a screenshot (with the pilot inserted afterwards) and a real photo.

Looks pretty close, doesn't it?

cheers,
seediffy
