Does anyone here remember Rally Championship 2000 by Magnetic Fields?

Loved this game!

Does anyone still play it on an older rig? just curious.

I still have my copy, though mine is titled Mobil 1 Rally Championship.

Still trying to figure out how to get it running on Win7 biggrin

I used to love this game. IIRC it was pretty tough and some of the stages were excruciatingly long. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on this again.....

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Vertigo smile

It was a fantastic rally experience back then. I have the CD (I'm assuming it's a CD) on my desk right now.

I wonder what it's like now though - although I see I might struggle to get it running on W7 frown

I can't even get it to install. I think the last time I tried, the installer thought I didn't have enough drive space.

Maybe it doesn't like Win7's implementation of NTFS. I think it installed under XP.

No idea what happened to my original so I just managed to track down another copy. I'm wondering if there's a way to hack the installer?

Otherwise i'm looking forward to giving it a re-play on my XP box smile

I'm definitely thinking it has to be a file system thing. I'd also tried to get it to run under Wine in Linux - in theory it works, but in practice it didn't.

I might plug in one of my spare flash drives and try installing there, since those aren't using NTFS at all.

Good question...
Its been on my HD for so long I cant remember if I even had to reinstall it for Win7 change over here or just kept playing it.
I will try installing the demo off the web and see if it gives me issues (disc is not here atm)
