Yes

Thank you. I could not find enough time to practice and most importantly to join any practicec races, so I am too much danger for event like this... but I take a spectator seat to support this community and to cheer for you guys. Case of Bud is in a refrigerator and hotdogs are in the making :-)

Have a great race, guys!

Is a late entry allowed? If so I would like to join the event.

Here is a skin I have put together, please copy into your rFactor install if I am allowed on the grid. Thanks!

Now that I'm home from work I can relate on the issue I'm experiencing. Load into the server, jump into the car, it will accelerate to max speed with limiter with no issues. If I make a pit stop, and try to take off after the crew is completed with work, the car is slow to get going. It won't hit max RPM and takes for ever to get going. I can barely hit the speed limit before the end of pit road. I'm using a Momo so I have auto clutch enabled.

Try putting in a key or button for the clutch and using that to exit the pits. You really need to get these cars wound up to get them launched from the pits, even in real life. It's a tough balance between smoking it all the way out and trying not to crash, or lugging the engine.

Are you hitting Neutral while in the pits? I guess I've noticed before it seems a little sticky if I leave it in gear while the crew does their thing, but if I hit Neutral at all it's normal...I think. I just haven't noticed it being a problem.

The #1 car has to retire for the race. Unfortunately, her driver has to chase tornadoes today around his house!

Honestly though, I am going to have to sit this one out. We're possibly getting into outbreak territory this afternoon around here, so obviously I have to go chase! Here's the latest from the Storm Prediction Center:

Fun while it lasted. My plan was to just stay back and out of trouble until near the end. Everything seemed to be going fine in the opening laps, until what turned out to be my last pitstop. With the Yellow/Pits Closed coming at just the wrong time, I pulled into my stall the next lap with minimal fuel remaining, and the crew would not service me. The HUD read "Pit Menu Unavailable" and cycling through the HUD it was all blank. Then the engine died.

Normal HUD selections returned a few seconds later, I restarted, and all seemed normal. I ran the gas up to full again, and took new tires. I didn't realize it at the time, until after I pulled out, but it only gave me 0.4 gallons of gas. I'd have stayed in the pits and tried it again, but I'd already pulled out. I'm guessing that it may have finally started servicing me before I ran the fuel up to full again.
Race over.

I haven't seen that one before. Looking back, it was as if rFactor gave me the HUD indications when the engine dies, after running out of fuel, before it actually happened.
Good luck to all for the rest of the race. Not a huge turnout, but at least it beat my over/under prediction (10).

Had a ball today even with the relatively low turnout and despite going a lap down early on.Congratulations to Matthias for the win. Good Job there. It was a lot of fun getting back through the traffic and I eventually did manage to get my lap back! Too late to get a good finish but its still the most fun you can have with your clothes on thumbsup

Edit: If we run either Tally or Texas in these cars I would love it to be Tally but I will still turn up for Texas.
