Jason a Achim Engles would like to contact you. He is the fantastic builder of all the WW-1 aircraft reproductions in Germany.

Would be great to have him on board with RoF.

Oooh! That sounds marvelous. You might want to send Jason a message on the official R.o.F. forum, in case he doesn't see this thread.

He can send me a PM on the ROF forum. He's going to need an internet connection though at least once. There is no way around it to unlock his content on his gaming machine. There's nothing I can do to change that for him if he wants to register and fly ROF.

Jason

WOMENFLY2= Super cool. dance

Instead of complaining about SPAD 7s, Central pilots should capture and fly them too. I suggest putting an apple in the middle of your Aerodrome field and just wait. Eventually a SPAD 7 will come by to get the apple, cause SPADS can't resist apples. This is how the Entente gets a hold of SPAD 7s, m-kay?

Quite a coup, WF2! One down, Mikael Carlson and Peter Jackson to go!

Love. You can know all the math in the 'Verse, but take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down, tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Off topic: how's that Cub coming?

The opinions of this poster are largely based on facts and portray a possible version of the actual events.

Just received a PM from Mr. Engels ...

Quote:
Well

In this case I just stick with my old version of IL-2. It is just a game anyway.

I do not see the point why they force me to do something. This way I rather stay clear of it.Sorry!

Achim

Its to bad. See Mr. Engels post here. How can we get him to play?

DART: I started doing CAD drawings in Soildworks for the Cub, seems none exist as 3D CAD models. As good as the original drawing are from Piper, I have copies, there are errors. The 3D Model will help to work these out. Once finished I will offer them for sale too. Rib jig being built and wood on order for the wing spars and ribs. Rudder, elevators and stab to follow after.

If the bloke refuses to embrace 21st Century technology, then I'm afraid that's his loss.
Send him a couple of video's, that might sway him.

Good idea Davy & Jorri !

Anyone interested in doing this using the D.vIII skin Fubar made? Has to be the high quality of the RoF contest video winners and be up-loadable to YouTube. No music please, unless classical, in flight sounds preferred.

Maybe post them here and we can vote which one?

Winner picks one gifted plane or 2 mod's of their choice.

Considering what he does for a living then it's no surprise really. And also potentially our loss.

Begs the question..will his PC be able to run ROF?

Anyway, already working on a video!

Only just saw your post, though, WF; so I'm, using a different skin (MFJ II Carl Kuring).

Can still switch if needs be, but perhaps that skin will be good enough?

This was intended to inspire Mr. Engel's, so using Fubar's E.v skin of Mr. Engel's plane is a must.

Will do!

By the way, there are quite a few DVIII skins with the MFJ preface in it. Do you perhaps know what it means?

Well, i tried to register to Engels' forum a year ago. It did not work, so i wrote a pm via "contact" on his website, and never received an answer.
I tried it three times until i gave up - i just hope he does not on RoF wink

Here you go Catfish and everyone:

Hello, we've had endless problems with people not being able to register on AeroForum. I believe those problems will be resolved this weekend so that by Monday people will once again be able to register. This was a problem caused by malicious hackers.

We will be doing another upgrade to the software which runs AeroForum very soon, and I will send out a notice as to when that will happen.

Thank you for your great patience and for participating in AeroForum.

I don't browse the internet at all on my gaming partition either. I only install/activate and update games.

Maybe he built his own gaming system and didn't put an ethernet card in since he never planned any online activity?

Or its in an awkward position in the house... is not worth running cables.

If I didn't have a laptop and a wireless network I'd totally be screwed when it came to getting online
