Have any of you out there in the inter-tubes used a touchscreen monitor in your pit build? I am in the idea phase, do they work is FSX or DCS?

A touch screen emulates mouse input so any clickable cockpit can be controlled via a touchscreen.

Actually you will want to check out the below link for Helios...way better than touchbuddy for DCS series and Falcon. Can be used for FSX also with a bit of imagination. Pretty sure that the dev for Helios also did touchbuddy.

Below is my piit in A10 the lower screen and the screen on the left are touch screens...I am running Helios

I'll let you know in the future how mine will work out. I'm combining a large flat screen with a touch overlay. They key is to get a large enough screen.

I had considered using Helios but eventually decided on a different direction. I can say though that from what I've seen in YouTube videos and from being on the forum that it is also a very good solution. In addition, those guys over there are stand up guys too. They've got a very good product.

The developer behind Helios is the guy who did TouchPal (for DCS: Blackshark, at the time). TouchPal came about when he couldn't do everything he wanted with TouchBuddy ( a *fine* program, by the way!).
