Hi all, Have posted this in the tech section, but thought I'd put it here. Working on plans to build an Apache simpit, and looking at ideas for the controls. Have seen an old sim post where someone converted a Saitek X45 stick into a helicopter Cyclic. I am wondering if anyone has tried doing this with an X52 or X52 Pro at all? I have an X52 Pro, but this week will be getting the X65F system.

So I am hopeful some of you have explored this area, and can give me tips on what might be a way to go.

Thanks guys

Scottyoz

Thnaks Pollock Looks as though he's no longer producing them, and it became a bit messy in dealings, according to the forum subject I found (was from 2009, unless there are recent developments). Still trying to find an image of what he produced.

Will keep looking though.

Thanks

His cyclic was just a stock X52 with an extended post. His trick piece was the collective.

I made a collective from a Saitek Aviator stick and didn't have to worry about the drama associated with left side limited.

Any pics HitchHikingFlatlander? Still working options for the Apache, but have a few ideas in mind. Finishing first pit atm and have X65F, Combat Pedals, and panels arriving today (fingers crossed)
