[EDIT] - FCJ is still available for purchase via the Promised Land website.

[Original Message]

Salute, fellow flyers.

Having recently buying RB3D and looking for ways to enhance my game experience I have come by the muchly praised Full Canvas Jacket superpatch and have decided to purchase it. having done that, I have paid "plagrafix" via Paypal using the link provided in the mods website, and have emailed the address provided in "contact PL" to verify the deal. the deal was made and the money was succesfuly transferred to the seller.

however, seeing that the website seems a little abandoned and unupdated, I am starting to fear for my money and for never getting an answer for my e-mail.

my question is: has anyone recently purchased FCJ via this method? what should I do if I don't get any response/disc, and how do I request my money back? I am a bit new to PayPal as well.

Thanks in advance to all repliers.

Paypal is holding your money, If the goods arent recieved you can get your money back.

UPDATE:

Good news! despite my fears I have just received an e-mail from the FCJ team - they are shipping the patch to me.
so for anyone interested if FCJ is still available - it is acquirable via the Promised Land website. RB will never die!
thanks for your reply FegalGT.

Salute!

So to the people that own this...is this mod now worth $28?

I play OFF and some ROF but Red Baron has something special too. Would i get a noticable benefit over HASP..graphically speaking?

It does look good on the website but an 8 year old mod costing the same as a new game has got me puzzled...thanks in advance for any answers!!

I was a contributor to FCJ though as a disclaimer, I've never seen a penny from it

It's good, but not so much better than HASP that I would have ever paid $28 for it

HASP has the same aircraft 3D models, and you can get very mice older Promised Land terrain, objects and effects graphics for free elsewhere at my website (or from links there)

SWWISA's Western Front Patch is for all practical purposes, FCJ2, as Kessler contributed much of his FCJ aircraft skins to it .. WFP is a bit more complex to deal with, but has 100 plane types vs 38 ..

Neither FCJ nor WFP are compatible with MP servers with security ON .. HASP has an MP download I think is

of course you need the stock RB3D for any of them .. and multiple / separate copies are recommended for different modded RB3D games

Just a side note: I wanted to try the Western Front patch but it requires a campaign manager that wont work on a 64-bit OS, which is a shame because RB3D runs awesome on my rig

Same here. part of the reasons that led me to FCJ (and also because it looks good + adds loads of ground objects, for which I'm a sucker for).
hope it possesses no problem for 64 bit Win 7, RB3D works flawless with HASP patch. if it is problematic, guess I'll set it up for sale.

Hi All,

No need for the CM app. on modern operating systems if you want to run the WFP: run it through the ReLoad app. instead (just click the "load dates" option) - mine works fine that way in WINE on an Intel Mac. Should be good on Windows too.

~ For my various FM/AI/FPS/DM Mods. for First Eagles 2, WoFF, RoF & WoTR, and tips for FlightGear, recommended is to check over my CombatAce profile (https://combatace.com/profile/86760-vons/) and to click on the "About Me" tab while there. ~

Gabi,

I use Reload everytime I play Revenge of the Jastas (about twice a month) and Red Bullet everytime I try for some MP action (about once a month). And I recommend both to anyone who asks what can be done to improve the game. Thanks for them.

As to CM, there are few minor functions I miss, that I for my SP games, I will move the campaign file over to my XP machine to make changes to the date if need be, then move it back, but mostly I use Tymophil's Campaign Editor (Tymophil's editor has a messed up date changer, but other wise is pretty damn nice).
