Hi guys,
My box says 'Global star' and I believe the patch should be "searchrescue4_patch_v1.00".
I also have "sar4_update_01" but, isn't this for the Justflight version?
I have both patches and, I'll use the "searchrescue4_patch_v1.00" patch.
Could someone verify if this is correct? I see no version indication when I run the game.

Thanks

Jaeger

Now if we/someone could open the PAK can, it would be even funnier to update the textures and all... stirthepot

Totally agree: there's got to be someone out there who could do this "blindfolded".
Unfortunately the(se) person(s) are occupied with something else.
What i would like to see here at SimHQ, is a section/forum dedicated to teaching us "wannabes"
at least some of the basics. For instance, I would like to learn 1/10th of what Arneh knows about programming:
the same for any of the guys who uderstand/do this stuf.
At least a paragraph showing where we should start our "education" of the basics.
I can do GMAX, some Houdini, Maya, 3dsmax, and Lightwave but, i want to at least learn
how to write code. Meanwhile what will we do when "our" "patrons", decide to hang it up?
I mean all of the above sincerely: I have to go back to school to re-certify as a Med Technologist: but,
if someone would suggest the "correct" courses to improve our hobby, I would take those classes also.

Well hopefully someone will show the way, after all that's one of the things I've always loved about SimHQ: the
helping hand.

As graphic designer, I can create new textures or edit current one but unfortunately, I'm not a C++ code tech guy... but there is hope, Samovar6 offered his help on the other SAR thread and maybe it will be possible soon. yep

Was version 1.00 the last patch? I see a freeware newer version, but it appears to be for Linux.
