Was just curious if there's any progress on the choices of mods for the Indy race that's planned....gonna have a lull in racing after this weekend's SECS event is over and Indy's always a favorite event for many.

Good timing Steve. smile

All bits are ready and will be announced right after Spa tomorrow.

A BIG THANKS to Papa_K who spent a lot of his personal time getting things sorted-out. thumbsup

while in general I am not much interested in 'turn left only' racing, real life Indy500 is very special event for me

I am much looking forward to this one

Same for me, Piotr....two things my dad used to take me to every May in the 70's....the Kentucky Derby and Indy.

Still make it a point to watch both.

Sentiments shared here, Steve.

In motorsport (real one) 3 events stand out for me. Indy500, Lemans24, and Monaco F1 GP. And all 3 only make sense (in diferent way) as only once a year occurence. All 3 have the flaws of their format, but as they happens only once a year they have my entire imagination.

Quiz gestions now: which driver won all 3 of above I mentioned? :-)

Without using Google... Is it Graham Hill?

Don't forget the SimHQ Touring Car event in May, the week before the Indy event. smile

I thought Jim Clark at first, but I don't think he ever won at LeMans....I'd have to bet on Graham myself. Good call.

I've never raced Indy before, but I'll definitely give this a shot!

I'm moving the Series to after LeMans and running it for 3 weeks. That will still give us 2 weeks before SCES Imola. Reason for moving - I was getting the impression it was bad timing.
