Hey folks. I've beaten RDR long ago but still enjoy free roaming as Marston's son. The other day, (and I've free roamed as his son for probably hours and hours) I was in Mexico and a "Stranger" mission appeared! I wasn't aware that there were such missions upon campaign completion that are available for Jack Marston. Was this a fluke? Was it a stranger mission I failed to complete as John Marston that showed up later and allowed me to finish as his son? Are there anymore "Stranger" missions for Jack?

Thanks for any help. Its amazing that a game chock full of details is still suprising me with new stuff countless ours and main game completion later.

No problems bisher. I'll just hunt and peck around and see what I can see. I still have yet to discover legendary creatures. I don't remember if that's part of the nightmare pack or the base game. I have found and killed a jackelope though.

p.s. The soundtrack to Jeremiah Johnson makes for a great score to listen through your 360 while playing RDR. Especially the slow lone singer parts. Its also fun to match your horse's gate to the music's tempo. Great atmosphere and relaxing.

All but one of the stranger missions can be complete as jack. Likewise there is one stranger mission that can ONLY be completed by jack.

I read something that said some stranger missions can be completed by Jack later on if missied as John as Master alluded to. Hey Master, what stranger mission is it that only Jack can complete? The one that showed up for me was rescuing an endentured chinaman by catching a white horse.

I dont want to ruin it for you lol but it has to do with Jack gunning down an important person.

The only one that jack can not do is the "I know you" story about the man in black. That one is not needed for the achievement though. So yes you can get the achievement as jack or john.

Oh I know what you are taking about. I viewed that more as completing the main campaign though. The Mexico white horse one was probably one I just missed as John.
