Just curious... is the "Touring Car Series" something for GTR2, Race07, LFS, RaceRoom, rFactor, iRacing or one of the other racing games still in use? ...and

Two volunteers have stepped forward. After testing there will be an announcement which mod and tracks.

Any chance of a Mazda MX5 race in the future? They look like a lot of fun.

The listing on the calendar has me wondering if the Touring Car mod might be a V8 Supercar. I'm still torn between ORSM's latest and the FVR mod. ORSM is a more finished product, but with an odd differential... and driving style, as a result. The latest FVR version puts it in the running as far as driving (IMO). Either one of those might be better with open setups. Something simpler, as far as the mod, setup-wise, might be better if it's going to be using fixed setups. But I'm jumping the gun on that one... no idea which mod is in the works.

No, the Aussie Supercars will be September at the mountain.
Once our volunteers come back with their final comments, there will be an announcement.

Can we get a hint on which mod? Not necessarily a request... One guess would be the AE86 Club mod, but that might be too low on the performance scale. Too early for this mod update, but it looks interesting: http://www.virtualr.net/historic-gt-touring-car-2-0-new-trans-am-previews/

Nope, not that one. I'll announce the series details later this week.

One more guess to bump it: The WTCC BMW E90 mod? Not a powerful beast, but it seemed like a good mod.

One more guess to bump it: The WTCC BMW E90 mod? Not a powerful beast, but it seemed like a good mod. Nope. It's a mod we've never run before, but is highly popular. Announcement coming soon. Not quite ripened yet.

If I had my say, it would be the NAGT mod for rfactor by theuspits.com.

It's still going ahead. It's just that Doug and the team have been stretched to capacity trying to pull this together at the same time as organizing SCES stuff and everything else that goes on around here. The initial call for volunteers went unanswered until recently and the amount of work that goes into organizing these events is immense so it's been a real race against time. As far as i am aware it's pretty much ready to roll. I wouldn't be surprised if Doug made an announcement later today. I know what it is and can't wait to get started All i can say is that this will be something none of you expect but it's a damn fine mod that is likely to give some of the closest racing we've seen

Announcement coming in 3 hours. Just waiting for the paint to dry. The races will be Wednesday evenings and Sundays for the next four weeks. No sign-up needed. Just show-up and run. It will not be a championship series and each race day will stand on its own. MojoFlow, you might even get some time for these. EnvyODB says he is feeling better and can drive, plus the long lost Weasel_Keeper FINALLY got his broadband. Should be a hoot!

Please be Suzuki's...Please be Suzuki's...Please be Suzuki's...Please be Suzuki's... No cigar but you're going in the right direction. The Suzuki mod is great but this is even better IMO. In fact i would so as far as to say it's arguably one of the most accurate driving models i've ever seen in rF
