Testing targets. Matching terrain. Need a little better integration and a wharf area.

At least we will have some shots on the anniversary.

Probably a little late but would love to see the Ryuho in dock.

Little remembered but she was hit by the Doolittle Raiders and suffered a fair amount of damage.

Hi John(ZEROCINCO)Shelton,

It's the first time I post here. I follow and support your work from the beginning since YAP and YAP2 and now RISING SUN. Congratulations for all these MASTERPIECES HISTORY(Stories)TELLERS. The book, "THE RISING SUN The Decline and Fall of The Japanese Empire" By John Toland is a should read for all interested in RISING SUN, but also there are another two books that are capital for this particular episode the 'Doolittle's Raid' and those books are "THIRTY SECONDS OVER TOKYO" By Captain TED W.LAWSON. which gave origin to the movie with the same name, with Spencer Tracy as Col. Doolitle and Van Johnson as Lawson's himself, and the second book is "I COULD NEVER BE SO LUCKY AGAIN" an autobiography by James Doolittle, himself and Carroll V. Glines
I recomend both!

Once more John, thanks for these wonderful roll playing adventures

Greetings!

Antonio Lapa Gomes

Sorry, General. This is a day late for the anniversary of the Raid. I was doing my taxes.

Our missions for Doolittle's Raid will be the attack on the Nitto Maru by VF-6 off of the Enterprise. Then three bomb runs on Japan flown by 3 of the last five aircraft to depart the Hornet. (40-2247, 40-2297, and 40-2267)

2247 will attack Yokosuka and the Ryuho.
2297 will attack Nagoya bombing barracks, POL, Atstuta and Mitsubishi aircraft factories.
2267 will attack Kobe bombing a steel works, dock yard, manufacturing and an aircraft factory.

Here are some shots...first of Butch O'Hare, then the Nitto Maru and Kobe.

O'Hare didn't really "ace" on that flight and neither will you. If you do not fly like he did and make oblique attacks, the gunners on the G4M1's will get you right away.

Everything blows up if you hit it. (I have missed everything including the factory and the wharf.) Then you have a long flight to the mainland nursing your fuel to a landing in a field...if you make it.
