I've got exactly the same problem with cougar MFD's. I run a dual boot system with Win7 (=OK) and WinXP (install problem). I have pointed to the driver/X86 folder but get a grey 'OK' button so I can't install the driver. I have various falcon installs on XP, so I'd like to have the MFD's working there. Matt, have you sorted it out yet?
