I just purchased Rising Sun and first attempted to use it with modded SF2: Israel. Flying 411207j George Welch mission, I noticed a graphic glitch with holes showing in the mountains (the first shot below) as well as weird coastline on north-western shore of Oahu (second shot). Checking out the forums I found a recommendation to install Rising Sun on a vanilla SF2 installation, so I purchased SF2 to use specifically with Rising Sun. After downloading and installing June 2010 edition of SF2 and installing Rising Sun over it, the glitches remained. I also noticed the canopy ribs missing on P-40B. Any idea how to get these glitches sorted out?

The "waterfall" stays. If you want to see something really weird fly all the way over to the other islands. We concentrate on the likely courses. The terrain editor from Thirdwire does not allow for very much in the way of micro-adjustments.

That effect of seeing one tga image superimposed over a closer one is a long-recognized characteristic of Thirdwire that TK knows about.

The canopy problem cannot be duplicated by us. And we have tried. It seems to be a result of having multiple Thirdwire installations and, possibly, the order in which they were installed. It doesn't happen in XP. It doesn't happen on our Win7 machines. The only problem we knew we had were some irritating missing shadow issues on the runway surfaces. That, too, is a Thirdwire problem that is addressed in a fix that does not apply to all TK's game versions.
