I thought I asked this before, remember writing down the settings... but can't find it now... but this time I have video, lol...
In NFS Shift 2 on the Xbox 360, I get a floating deadzone that makes it impossible to handle the cars even on the strait-a-ways... I also get this with Race Pro on the Xbox 360 but not nearly as bad... I can take my hands off the wheel and it will rock back and forth about an inch or so on the wheel and in the game... I have the wheel (FANATEC) set to factory defaults (because i don't know what settings are best) and in game I have:
*Intel i7-2600K processor *Cooler Master Hyper N 520 CPU fan *Asus ROG Maximus IV Gene-Z mobo *8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 DDR3 RAM *Asus ENGTX570 DCII GeForce 570 video card *Western Digital 640GB 7200 w/32MB cache HDD *Corsair TX750M power supply *Corsair Carbide Series 500R black case *LG CD/DVD optical drive *Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit

I think I saw http://www.insidesimracing.tv/ having setups for the fanatec and shift2 on the tube. Check for shift 2 unleashed first look / part one .....about 8 min from start

watched the video back when Krudger tried to help me, saw the settings... I must be doing something wrong... when I go into my FANATEC Turbo S settings, the only options I have for the Sen is 210-360-540-OFF... 900 is not an option.
I know about the bug in the XBOX 360, so I start up my console first then my wheel... in game it still see's it as a M$ FF Wheel, and the max I can do is 270.
WIERD.

Magnum, I updated my firmware on my pwts a while back and that have me some extra settings. A dead zone and a linearity setting. Changing them both to 10% sorted that "see saw" motion of the wheel out.
Thomas from Fanatec recommends only using the linearity setting but I found using the dead zone setting helped more and made no difference to the quality of the response from the wheel.
