I'm sure this is a totally noob issue, but whenever I try to generate a mission it says (..\data\missions\dawson.mission {The system cannot find the path specified})

I droped the contents of the rofcampain folder (from the rar) into the root Rise of Flight directory, but still no go. Any help fellas?

Took 9.2 for a ride. Takeoff and intercept issues fixed.

Thank you!

Thanks Queeg, that helped get me goin!

Had a fun mission in the Gotha! Figured I'd share a glitch I ran into. Assigned to Boghol 1, stationed at Bisseghem, Courtrai. Second Gotha spawned impaled on the wind sock, and had failed to take off. Also, not sure if this is a glitch or not, but the mission seemed to involve just dropping bombs on nomans land, with no discernable target. Wouldn't surprise me if this were accurate, am just checking. Great stuff Patrick, Greatly appreciated. smile

Fixed so far:
Balloons now are on the correct side of the lines
Changed Enland/English to Britain/British (at the request of a Welsh flyer :))

Aladar: bug noted. The spread was originally for scouts and is probably iandequate for the big bombers. Thanks for the report.

Aladar: The takeoff issues with Gothas can be configured away ...

Under
Configuration
Parameters: Flight
See the "Takeoff Spacng" parameter. You can use this to increase spacing if the Gothas are on top of each other.

If the wondsock is a problem see
Configuration
Parameters: Ground Objects
See the "Windsock Distance" parameter. You can change the windsock distance until it is out of the way.

The only isue that I foresee is that the Gothas are so big that a large flight might extend into the hangars. You can configure that away by reducing maxflight size.

I started a new RNAS 3 Campaign with v.9.2, but the airfield problems seem to be still there...
The take off position was "mirrored", there were no buildings and moreover the "offensive" mission route was "mirrored" too
Have a look for yourself:

Squadron = "RNAS 3 / No 203 Sqn";
Date = "12/12/1916";
Time = "16:52";
Type = "Sopwith Pup";
Locality = "Flanders";
Duty = "OFFENSIVE";
Altitude = "8400 ft";
StartHA
This mission was flown by Captain William Robinson, Captain Brian Smith, Lieutenant Brian Collins, Lieutenant Oliver Taylor, 2nd Lieutenant John Mollo, 2nd Lieutenant Harold Ellis and 2nd Lieutenant Mark Bailey flying from Frontier aerodrome.

Just curious . Why does the OP take us to wings of honour that has 6.1 as the download available ?

(I'm a big big fan though)

Excellent work as always Pat.

Just one slight amendment request - would it be possible to have a version number showing on the main screen? After a couple of quick updates in succession I had to double check which version I had installed as the latest. It's an age thing I think!

Regards,

WB.
