V9.1 is up. This one is pure bug fixes
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed misaligned airfields - all of them
- Fixed major airfields not appearing bug
- Fixed placement flaw that would create invalid mission
- Fixed player escort missions
- Fixed offensive patrol pathing
- Fixed MG assignment (was putting German MGs in English positions)

It has been stated that encounters are infrequent. I believe that this may be a side effect of the issues above. I took a look and things seem to be OK in 9.1. Remember, you can increase the likelihoodof an encounter by increasing the odds of anopposing missionand increasing the max number of opposing missions. 9.1 feels much more stable than 9.0 in addition to fixing some long standing issues.

Your reports have been really helpful. Keep them coming and I will try to keep the fixes coming. I do not see any more major changes based on RoF in its current state, but bug fixes and improvements will continue.

Wow, that 'patch' was quick and quick to be picked up; it was announced just 20 minutes ago and already well over 200 people have downloaded 9.1 if the WoH stats are correct. Many thanks.

EDIT: maybe that's since v9 came out...

Problems with aircraft placement still seem to be present in 9.1. I began a campaign with 70 RFC in August 1917 at Bertangles 8 aerodrome. Tried two missions. In both, all the aircraft began in front of hangars. None of the AI pilots made it into the air.

Ditto here.

Planes are still lined up to flight leader's left (used to be on right) and crash into hangars or roll into rough ground off the edge of the landing field.

Are you flying an Allied or German campaign? I've been flying Allied and something Pat or someone posted earlier suggested that the problem might be limited to the Allied campaigns. If so, I'll just fly German until it's fixed.

I have three Allied campaigns going.

Just switched to air starts.

Let me know how the German campaigns work...
