will you give us SimHQ folks impressions of the single player? I wish they'd go the route they have in the past following a group of SEALs and not some international group of folks(unless it was rainbow six style) I just would like to know if they at least attempt to make a realistic military feel with the units and not hollywood it too much.

well what... it's the best tactical shooter I've played on PS3... but still... more of a Black Ops clone to a point.

SP is just like I expected... an action movie I'm apart of... but with a squad I can order placed to go and actions to take.

co-op...looking to try this Sat.

MP... nice maps and great gameplay...3rd person is weird, and I'm still getting use to the PS3 controller verves the 360... more faster then tactical...but with friends I guess it could be played in a tactical way...

basiccally...just another 3rd persona tactical shooter... not as tactical as I wish, more in the style of Black Ops but still very fun.

I was hoping it was more like the old SOCOMs which I would definitely qualify as a tactical shooter. Oh well, it should be in my mailbox today so if I can find a few minutes to check it out I will do so.

I haven't picked mine up yet, been fighting strep so I know I won't be playing much at all.

It's the first Socom, in which my K/D ratio is above 1.0 The SP is so-so, but MP is HUGE fun - especially with headset and some friends. Hope they will put some classic maps as DLCs later on.
