Hi all

Seems we're not gonna move into the big house and instead now are aquiring a great city apartment. That's cool, but it means I will not have the space to build or display my already stocked-up 1:32 aircraft collection.

I'm not sure what a good way is to get rid of those kits, but asking here can't hurt. I'm not looking to recover total cost, part of it will do.

I have (all in 1:32)

Trumpeter Superhornet F/A-18E
Trumpeter Harrier AV-8B
Revell Ju-88 (with Revell Etched Parts and Eduards Etched Parts and Pre-Cut Canopy Masking) - that kit alone cost me about 200EUR including all extras.

I also have a WNW PfalzD3 and Sopwith Pup, but I may just try to build these two, they need the least space to display.

Also two armor kits, AAVP-7A1 by Hobbyboss and a BMP-3 by Trumpeter - these were meant to stand for my favorite ARMA2 rides.

Please let me know if you are interested.

later

RS

Dear RSC,

How much are you thinking of for your AV-8B?

Cheers biggrin

BTW, did I ever get round to thanking you for organising the Day-by-Day campaign? Not sure if I did, but anyways: thanks! It was a hoot, and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the RoF Day-by-Day campaign in 2014 (!)

The campaign really was a team effort, I'm glad that people enyoed it. That RoF 'year by year' campaign might get a liitle long though.

My amazon.de memory tells me that I paid 60EUR for the Harrier. So maybe 30, 40 would be nice, but I don't want you to pay near as much as for a new one so it also depends on shipping costs. No point for you to pay 40 and 15 shipping if you can get a new one for 60 still. Want to PM me your address?

As far as I know - have it in storage now - the sprues are all still in protective bags, unopened. I'm happy to get rid of it, otherwise it will always painfully remind me on my ambitions for my hobby room model display...

Hi RSC,

Sorry... that's a little dear for me, but as it's in pristine condition, it's very deserving of the price you ask, and I'd feel awful asking you to go any lower. I thought perhaps you'd started building it already.

Seems I gotta pass it up frown. So sorry to waste your time like that. Good luck with selling the kit, and all the best for the house move, too.

Cheers smile

If no one else here in the board claims it we might still get you sorted. I'd rather see the stuff going to fellow simhqers who I know will appreciate it and build it to high standards. I certainly dont want to store them eternally.

Sadly the Trumpeter stuff is just damn expensive. Could you manage 20 and shipping?

Dear RSC,

Thank you very much for this gesture! I really appreciate it; it's very, very kind of you.

I live in Birmingham, in the UK. Three things before I commit - would you mind confirming the postage, how you'd like to receive payment and - I know it's a little rude of me - also could you post a few pictures of the box contents? Thanks awfully.

Cheers biggrin

The box is stored in my office as that's where amazon shipped... I can check all that on monday. Payment by paypal or snail mail, we have to watch for currency conversion though. I might have a better idea, more on monday.

Hi Argy

Sadly the same bad news I already gave Semmern: Austrian Postal Service is REALLY expensive on shipping these items. 13EUR base price and one EUR for each kilogram weight, that comes out at easily 15EUR shipping. For Semmern it's actually two EUR for each additional kilogram, so easily 18.

Since you wanted to keep the price down obviously 15EUR shipping is not an option. I'm currently looking trough other parcel services but it's gonna take another day - to find something I can use for your and Semmern's kit.

Hi again all.

I'm very sorry, but I could not find a decently cheap parcel service to make the prices worth it. I have a friend at a local model kit shop who will try to sell them for me instead.

Really sorry to have brought your expectations up. In times of free shipping by amazon I really did not expect 10EUR+ costs for inner european delivery.

That's okay Helmut. Thanks for trying though smile As for shipping cost, I imagine a 1/32 Super Bug out of Norway would cost at least twice that..

Be sure to let us know if you have any other kits to sell. I'd be willing to cover 10€ for shipping if the kit was a bit cheaper in itself.
