rof_updater.exe_
This program has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Tried to log in using my original login and get a "server error". Click on create new account and get the error "Bad Request (invalid host name)"

Just download the latest build of the game and install so you don't have to run the updater until our next update.

http://www.riseofflightdemo.com/ROF_Demo/ROF_ICE_Demo_1018.exe

Remember, once you have registers a User Account for ROF you don't need to re-activate it. Just go straight to log in.

Then try to log into the game. If that fails go to the website and request your login info again. Chances are you can't login because you got your name and password wrong or forgot to capitalize something.

If you are re-installing ROF on a new computer make sure to install ALL of the M$ libraries that you are offered during installation. Otherwise ROF won't run.

Jason

Thanks for the quick response Jason. I know my login and password are correct because I found the original e-mail with them. I'll take your other advice about downloading tomorrow as I have to get to bed 3:30AM comes mighty early.

Thanks again.

You don't have to redownload the entire game if you have a DVD version.....

...just reinstall all the stuff in the 3rd_party folder, especially the Visual C++ stuff.

And make sure you launch that as administrator.

That should do ya'.
