I'm spending all of my MP time on DCS A-10 and have mapped my TS3 PTT to the throttle Mic Switch Up. However, when I'm not gaming, I put my gear aside ---- my gaming PC is also my general-purpose PC. Everytime I do this, I need to re-map the PTT to a keyboard key, then when I fly, I have to re-map it again to the throttle Mic, then when I put my gear aside, I re-map it again to the keyboard.

Is there a way around this? Maybe having two PTT buttons?

And no, I am not touching TARGET. mycomputer

What type of gear are you using? Depending on the type of HOTAS setup you have, you might be able to assign any of the buttons to a key. That way you can choose which key you want for PTT on the KB; then assign the same key to whatever button you use. I know with CH Products you can do this with their software; and I think it's the same for Logitech, Saitek, and TM.

I use a program called Joker that allows me to map my joystick buttons (same one you are using) to a keyboard key (in my case the left control key). This way in game or out I do not have to reset TS3 over and over.

I'm using a TM Warthog and what you are suggesting is building a TARGET profile, but I'm not touching TARGET as it just messes with the Warthog's plug-n-play.

PropNut, got a link to that program?
