So, WOT gets released april 12th, meaning they wipe all progress.

Who here will be playing the game?

I will be playing on the EU servers at least. I also aim to preorder some gold and grabbing the Pz IV/III.

If there is enough interest, I will also create an EU clan for us (it costs 2500gold).

So, who is aching for some fun not-to-serious tank loving?

I tried it in beta, it seems to much like pay to win to me and I already have one game I pay a monthly fee for and another one coming out soon.

I won't get any game that requires you to use the keyboard to move...looks like a great game otherwise and probably a lot of fun.

This is a micro transaction game and it is PAY to win, they sell gold ammo which outclasses anything else in the game and most of the PAY to win types use it constantly. It includes TD's which go invisible if they sit still and they can fire forever while invisible if they don't move the tank frame. The artillery STILL has the lazer eye in sky and the spotting routine for arty is STILL broken, so if you have any idea that this is a F2P game you can forget it, that is just a come on to get you to play and pay.

WoT pretty much announced that it was a pay to win game with their prerelease top tier tanks for sale with gold to spend. The game is filled with almost indestructable M6E**** tier eight tanks. I beta tested this game for almost a year and it has most of the saem flaws in it that it had at the beginning of beta.

If you don't mind spending 100 bucks a month to be a top player then this game is for you.

@Bigjim43

I don't spend any money playing this game and turn the wallet warriors into smoking scrap heaps. I played the beta for seven months and still love the game. There's annoying bugs, but nothing game stopping.

It's F2P and I think anyone paying for gold ammo is insane.

This is what I've got with my F2P account so far: http://game.worldoftanks.com/accounts/1000079486/

I agree with Nasty. I'm not a fan of the pay2play format but I don't feel the game is unbalanced because of it. I bought a pre-order package and I actually have a premium account but I don't purchase the gold ammo, typically the added penetration and damage isn't worth it.

It's a great game to try different tactics and for thinking up off-the-cuff reactions to rapidly developing attacks. I play just about exclusively as Arty, and get a kick out of the whining and hate in chat when I can land a few nice shots. I do keep a "Loltracktor" with a nice radio around to play zipping about the map to annoy the heavies.

I think I've been killed a few times by Nasty, most of my accolades are as a confederate, managing to track and slow down attackers so my team can pick them off.

Great fun, and I agree many of the premium accounts seem to miss-spend the gold.
