My air show season is so short up here that I have to find other subjects to shoot or I go nuts. I really had a good time shooting waterfalls this this past year. Picked up some snow shoes so I could go back and hit them in the winter as well.

Used my Nikon D200, Sigma 18-50 F/2.8 and a .9 ND Filter.

1 neat to see how the water cut the path, but it wasn't even straight.

3 I got real lucky with this, driving down from the Mts and caught this rainbow down load over this golf course bridge. Right place, right time and with a camera!

4 You never realize how out of shape you are till you're carrying camera equipment through the snow.

5 it was still flurrying when I took this shot, all the others showed streaks :-(

6 Mt Washington Hotel and Mt Range.

I need to get a phone that has coverage up in the Mts. AT&T has no coverage up there and hiking by myself off the trails sometimes isn't so wise. When I took some of these shots my legs when through the snow all the way to my waist near because of being over rocks.

I have some more HERE, thanks for looking.

Beautiful shots, Dave! Every one of them could be a postcard.

Looks great, and again tells me the New England area is someplace I could heartily live in the US, very much like here (except no fjords).

thanks Everyone, Slug, the Hotel is a large part of the area. It's well photographed in local calendar and postcards. My shot isn't original by any mean, just looks better with the snow rather than going up in the summer.

Wonderful scenery you got up there; you've captured it really well. And yes, the airshow season is just a bit too short =)

Great shots Dave.

Hey Chris, I have your blog bookmarked and just re-read your winter climbing adventure on Mount Washington. Epic.

thanks guys, I still remember that Chris. I can't believe people go up there during the winter. I was reading one photographer's blog on how they were taking a group up on a snow cat and they could only get half way up due to the winds and blowing snow.
