what about DVII with DIIIau engine, the most common variant? We still dont have the most common variant of legendary DVII....but we have other two (rare versions)...

I'd second that, would give us the possibility of creating more balanced late-war missions. The only option at the moment is to shove in loads of DVIIf which is even more unbalanced.

I would not call BMW variant "rare" tought... (IE more BMW D.VIIs were made than total production of Dr.I) Roughly 1/3-1/4 of all D.VII were BMW powered variants and pretty much rest were DIIIau engined ones. Only first batch of D.VII was equipped with D.IIIa engines and all of those propably were eventually shot down or replaced with DIIIau engine.

Are there any plans to model more ground targets? Being that the Halb. CL.II's main role was ground support, I hope that's the case.

This would be great but to sell it you would have to package a new map or something with the objects available, so that everyone playing that map would have the same objects, would love to see some trench action, but with all the nanny western govt's I doubt its allowed to straf troops, wouldn't need to be bloody just something like EAW had, more for atmosphere.

Still miss the early war 2seaters if you also want to introduce a decent campaign mode, intercept those late war 2seaters is no fun in your EIII.

I agree - I want to be scourge fodder (possibly with a hand held defensive weapon). I always thought that the parasol L-type would be cool, since it had both single seat scout and two-seater versions (and existed in large numbers).

+1

It would be great to have more varied "bases" to attack, perhaps auto-generated infantry (like the vehicles in Il-2) and a little more AA variety.

Ah... dreams.
