I just finished up a huge 54" wingspan P-40 Warhawk to be hung at a local WWII theme restaurant.
While building it the included straight exhaust pipes did not look correct since the P-40 has curved
exhaust pipes. I tried bending the pipes and they broke. I tried brass tubes, etc. but I could not get the correct bend.
Then my wife was making pasta one night and I saw the ziti! Perfect!

Looks great mate, is that the blackhorse p40b? Came out well, and great thinking on the exhaust wink will it be flown at all? Seems a waste not too!

Cheers

I'm guessing you tested the difference between Piggly-Wiggly and Harris Teeter, correct?-)

Great job man!

You sir, have excellent taste in beer! biggrin

I also second the notion that it would a shame if she never sees some air time.

Do you do a lot of these aircraft? Like 10 or more a year? I could get you a great deal from www.kmp.ca (I used to work for them). Best scale warbirds in the business other than maybe Ziroli's.
