Dynamic theater is good, but not essential for me. That's why I enjoy DCS, LO, or RoF smile

Interesting stance.. I didn't try deviled eggs until I was 30 years old..what a waste of three decades... wink

Agreed. A modern (as in "updated capabilities") dynamic campaign would be cool...but I've been very impressed with some of the hand crafted missions for Black Shark and DCS: A-10C. Even the missions for Jane's F-15, 18, and Longbow 2 were all quite good even though they weren't truly dynamic.

I've had fun with EECH and F4..for sure..but they can get repetitive and it becomes a game of gaming the campaign engine rather than being presented with uniquely challenging opportunities.

I'm with you, Beach. Dynamic campaign doesn't mean anything to me. I just love to fly, civilian (FSX) or military (any era). My problem with the DCS sims is their complexity. I need a sim-lite mode. I don't like phony arcade flight modeling, but I don't like anything that has me reaching for a manual. I don't have that kind of time. And I've never, ever become obsessed over a particular sim. Sims are like women. I find it easy to move on. biggrin

Uh-oh, I hear my wife coming! dizzy

I've never tried mushrooms even though they apparently improve meals. And I don't regret it, since they...lack a certain something. And are fugly to boot.

The "fugly" thing isn't projectable on the DCS sims though. They look fairly nice.
