The delay is to remove steam because of the boycott yay Probably quite the opposite; The delay might be to give the folks at Steam a chance to certify the game for release on their platform, and ramp up a small marketing campaign. Trust me, we as the community want this to be the reason: 1. If they remove steam, they will replace it with another form of DRM... 2. More Steam, More users. More customers mean we get better support and followup titles. You can still sell on steam without requiring steam and dcs does this. Actually when I wanted to pre order COD wasn't even for sale on steam - figure that out. Steam is not needed for copy protection. Steam isn't the DRM for COD regardless, it's SolidShield's thing - http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/8071032709/m/6051033319 SO WHAT IS THE POINT OF STEAM THEN !!!! IS IT TO COLLECT DATA TO GIVE TO CRIMINALS ???? I DON'T WANT MY PORN IN THE HANDS OF CRIMINALS !!!! THEY CAN GET THEIR OWN THE DIRTY LOW DOWN PERVERTS !!!! (backs away slowly, avoiding eye contact)

Ah, see, it tells you the truth right there: "This game will be shipped after the release date of March 21"
Note it says NOTHING about how long after that date. It just tells you not to expect it SOONER.

Looking at the report, the argument in this thread seems a bit pointless when talking about CoD. Should've quoted these figures: Total money spent on PC games per country US: $ 4,150,000,000 ( 2,930,000,000)
UK: £ 740,000,000 ( 847,000,000) Germany: 1,320,000,000 France: 690,000,000 NL: 170,000,000 Belgium: 150,000,000
That's 3,177,000,000 for just those 5 countries combined vs 2,930,000,000 in the US. (Note: I guess "units sold" would be a better value for camparison than "money spent in local currency".) And that's not counting countries like Austria, Spain, Finland, etc. Plus let's not forget that a EU-wide-release will most like include countries that technically aren't in the EU ... like Switzerland.

Updated thread title/first post to reflect changes. Launch date now seems like April 19th, so says steam and Amazon US.
Can both Canadian and UK members please confirm this for their perspective markets?
Thanks!

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a CE? Collectors Edition - you get some goodies like a paper manual, map etc.
