Now I am waiting on my MCP and Dual EFIS from CPFlight (6 week Lead time). Next up I will order the overhead bits and start wiring it up and interfacing it. Hope to finish that by end of may. Our new home should be finished by June, so I can move these bits to their final home, and build the platform for it. I'll be stuffing it all in an FDS shell. The Avionics and systems logic software is Sim Avionics, visuals courtesy of FSX. I will be using a 3 projector viewing system to provide 180 degree (about 22 linear ft) of curved visuals.

Kinda of like what Scott did here, but he's still using an LCD for his overhead.

Nat's visuals here may be a better example, though he is using multiple undocked views across 3 PC's instead of across a TH2Go. Edge blending and warping via Warpalizer...

smile LOL, well let's say I won't be retiring this week smile

Its in the 15k range when done.....depends on how far I go.

Visuals aren't that bad, 1500ish on hardware another 400 on edge blending and warping software.

Loving the display set up. And people think combat simpit builders are nuts! Do you have linked controls as well? Very nice pit in any case.

I won't be using linked. More so that the price for linked vs. unlinked is more than I want to pay. And I don't think the F/O side will get as much use as the CPT side. That said, the software takes the greater of the two inputs as primary if you have multiple controls hooked up. I guess I just need to keep the eight year old out of the F/O seat and off the yoke smile

You are nuts smile My friends been building his F16 pit for the better of 11 years now smile He is finally flying it, but like me, never done!

Sir, I humbly beg and implore you to tell me how that edge blending and warpalizer works? How much does it cost?
Dammit, I want one for my DCS A-10!
