I am trying to load the freeware Nimitz carrier into FSX and the readme instructions are confusing, at least to me. I cannot figure out what files and folders go where. Any help would be appreciated. For example if I copy the folders in #2 doesn't that overwrite the existing folders? Where is the "Aicarriers"?

INSTALLATION:

1-copy cvn_68_69.cfg into 'conf.d' folder inside your 'Aicarriers' installation folder.

2-Copy all three folders (Simobjects, Effects and Sound) into you main FSX folder.

3-Run Aicarriers2 program and select any of the multiple carrier variations provided in this package

I intend to use this program with Superbug for FSX

Thanks
Sobe

1- So you have run the installation package for Ai carriers 2 first? That will create the folder for aicarrier.

2- it will not overwrite other files within the folder (unless they are the same file name which in this case isn't a issue) - when it prompts you with the warning message about the folder existing just choose to continue to overwrite.

3 - you don't actually run the application by double clicking on the exe, it will run with FSX but you do need the Java runtime installed for it to work.

You select the carrier options from the radio menu in game.
