Just remember that what you are seeing in the first video is the casual gamer/COD player type of setting, according to TWI.

This is true, but I still dislike some of the things that will carry over to the realism mode:

Spawning with a squad leader
Odd suppression effect
Ranking, weapon unlocks, stamina increases ect.
Running and reloading speeds are too quick


Just to name some of my issues. Overall it looks good and I will buy it.

You know what I DO like about spawning with the squad leader? It at least encourages team play.

That is the single worst idea I have heard about for RO2. That will completely remove the strategic level from the games maps. I hope it can be modded out.

Agree with both of you. Imagine a squad leader hiding behind enemy lines (literally hiding in the map). Soon, he might spawn upwards of 10 or so players (behind "the enemies line") before he is found and killed.

Dear me...my worse fear is coming true RO2 will be a dumbed down version of RO for the CoD and BF2 crowd....oh hum...this has gone from a must buy to a wait and see what the forum says about it...

That's my worry as well.
Although I do play BC2,if I want to play a more realistic FPS then RO is one of my few places to go.
