Not exactly a bug, but an annoyance;

When you use trackIR/freeTrack, and you lean back in the ka-52 pit, you can see the sides and back of the pilots head. It obscures your view and is generally annoying.

Cheers

Use the widecockpit, it removes the pilot. And contrary to what the name suggests, you don't get a wider view, it just allows you to adjust the pilot's position (and removes the pilot 3D model).

BTW with the new Apache cockpit "wideview" will be the only view. Or if you prefer, a normal view where you can adjust the pilot's position.

I have a weird bug - ever since installing vista 32bit, whenever I fly anything BUT the comanche - the fps in the 1st person cockpit cam are sloooooowwww as gravy! Now when I fly the comanche its smooth as butter. The other thing is that I can fly it in 3rd person ok, but thats no fun :(. Its got something to do w/ the apache pit and im scared that it wont get fixed on its own when ver 1.10 comes out. Any ideas?
And yes my system is way fast and shouldnt be having this prob.

Try out some settings in eech.ini. Or maybe deleting it first, restart the game, quit the game, and you got yourself a fresh new eech.ini. Try specifically these settings.

I tried all that - I reinstalled my 500mb "all mods" patch and it over wrote my ini file. I reset everything in the INI but its still being sluggish unless you fly the Comanche.

Blindeye, is the KA-52 cockpit working OK when it comes to framerate?

Do you have EEAH? If you do, could you temporary rename the directory and see if it makes a difference?
