yes it is choppy... the nature of this beast (series)... but the new Korea game is the best yet. IMO

Choppy? None of the TOW games I have are choppy, not sure what you mean.

meaning... as stated in my upcoming review... I average 10 to 15 fps with all the ToW series of games, But yet can play other more intense games maxed out at 50 to 60 fps... so definitely choppy at times, especially when recording with fraps.

Now in their defense... not everyone has this problem, so I have a feeling the games are just not optimized with something or some things a number of us my have on our systems... and I've reported a memory leak in there games from the beginning that have never been addressed.

I will occasionally have to pause the game for 30 second or so so it can all settle down again.

The KURSK campaigns were so big, they were unplayable for me... eventually dropping to 1 to 2 fps... I just played quick battles with that one.

BUT... Korea is smaller scale with great terrian...so much better. IMO

The above trailers still show some similar behavior. Yes Kursk was the worst in performance. If you can get its campaign missions to run smoothly you must be playing it on Skynet.
