If I had the money and space I would love to have some sci-fi props. I would have definitely bid on some BSG stuff when they had their big auction after the show wrapped.

Well I was lucky enough ( or mad enough, according to my wife ) to win some of the BSG auction bids.

I really wanted to have soemthing from the show, I remember being so hopeful. Then watched as some of the really cool items ( the war room models of vipers&raiders ) went from their estimate, about $200-300 to literally thousands... oh well.

I then set about being even more determined to get at least one item from the online ebay auction ( at the time I thought that there was only going to be the one - turned out they ran several in the end ).

So there I was sitting up into the early hours waiting to get my peice of history... pictures...nope...badges...negative, even tried some uniforms...not a chance. Everything was going for way way more than I was prepared to pay.

In desperation I went for several obscure items and figured I'd probably be out bid on even them. In the end I was... except one. A laundary bag...yep a bloody laundary bag!!! LOL. Still it had BSG stencilled on it! So I was semi happy.

So after winning that and discovering there were in fact several more auctions I endeavoured to be a little more selective. In the end I got a viper patch and a raptor patch.

Did I spend way to much? ...YES

Am I glad I got them? ( even the laundary bag ) duh .... Frack Yeah! So say we all!!!
