I caught the very end of "No Ordinary Family" the other night, and Lucy Lawless and Tricia Helfer were guest-starring, and it looks like Lucy Lawless has a recurring role of some sort.

I haven't really watched the show much, so I don't know the details of their roles.

Well, since the show will soon be canceled, I don't think it matters. But this was their first appearance.

I will definitely watch the pilot for Precinct 17 and give it a shot.

The precinct will have a pilot? I hope they get Katee Sackhoff to play the pilot!!

I had no interest in this show when it was first announced, but now I can't wait. I hope he gets more!

I admit the premise is not something that I'm usually interested in BUT I will at least watch the pilot and see what it's like.

You will watch every episode and you will like it.

If the characters are as believable as in BSG, it will definitely be a great start.

It is RDM! He is all about the characters.

But I think you need to give it more than the pilot to dig it.

Just remember Virtuality or whatever it was called failed big time.

I anticipate the next former BSG cast member to join is going to be that guy you saw in the background when they were doing that thing and those people were shouting.

I bet had we seen more than that pilot/movie, it would have gotten around to some cool things.

I missed most of the pilot due to it being aired Saturday night in the summer or whatever off time they showed it, but I remember not thinking much of it either. Perhaps it was the idea of a scripted show having reality show elements in it? I mean, if all of BSG had been like Final Cut, with constant instances of Lee and Kara and whoever in the "confession booth" and such I think it would have become tiresome real fast.

I preferred the similar-themed Defying Gravity, even though that also failed and the best eps, which started really explaining what was going on, never aired. At least they were on DVD.
