And make sure the F15E is not in any of the screenshots (Specially Scoobe ) . Makes my blood boil whenever I see a screenshot of the F15E and realize that it is not flyable. It is like Chinese water torture.

Seeing screens like these reminds me . . . I've read several criticisms from time to time about the terrain in the DCS maps, not nasty ones, but honest criticisms. For myself though, I think that the DCS terrain is a great balance between eyecandy and all the other things a complex sim does to burden a PC's resources. I'm sure that we will see photo-realistic terrain soon enough, but for now I agree with those who say that the serious flight sim is anything but dead. Hats off to DCS for finding a way to bring us this kind of quality!

But think of the immersion factor in those older Flight Sims.:D
We use to play them for hours at a time, and couldn't wait for the next one to arrive on the Game Store shelves.

Completely, completely agree. The criticisms that the DCS terrain is boring or dated is just incredible to me. Perhaps those of us that played Amiga and C64 flight sims have more perspective I suppose. To me, the DCS terrain looks phenomenal..
