Hi, I had solved this problem before and do NOT remember the fix?? My MFD's are Blank and the only thing that shows on the MFD is the FLIR??

I have the latest drivers for my Vid card and all..So does anybody know what the fix is to get the MFD's to wotk correctly??

I cant recall off hand, but try-

advancedfm=1 # advanced (more complex) flight model, off by default.

I tried that Mick and it did Not fix it as I had it on 1 anyhow I tried it on 0 and still nothing..

I also adjusted the following parameters:

nrt=1 # Turns off rendering to texture in case of visual problems with MFDs or TADS
notnl=1 # Turns off GeForce "TnL" support for troubleshooting

I thought the Rendering to tesxture would have fixed it but Nope it didnt do anything??

I thought it was a setting in the Graphics card..Crap this sucks;;

I spoke to Graeme last night about your problem and he could not recall exactly but he suggested it may have related to the resolution. From your spec your using a large monitor. Have you tried setting the resolution at default 1024x768 to see if the MFD's are working then try working your way up with resolutions that maintain the same aspect ratio of 1:3(1024x768) or 1:6(1680x1050) and variants. If the apsect ratio is incorrect perhaps the MFD display would be corrupted?

Well I was messing around with Overclocking my CPU and I had to reset CMOS and I lost my RAID config and had to reinstall windows. Well after all that dancing around I had reinstalled EE2 and did as you suggested and ran it in 1024x768 and the MFD's Worked I then switched to 3072x768 and it still worked??

I am NOT sure why it works now and did NOT before?? but I won't look a gift horsw in the mouth hehe

REZZing this thread same problem I had before NO MFD's.. But when I put on the Night Vision I see the MFD Info???

I tried all the fixes I tried previously none of them are working perhaps Ill try a Reinstall and set Compatibility mode before I install???

Got the same problem as yours. I tried compatibility to xp sp2 (running it from 7 64bit), disabling viz themes, desktop composition, run as admin. No joy. I have the latest drivers and all that craps. Still, MFD visible using NVG only. I think I asked about this here, too, long ago. As well as in other websites. Searched google for help. Nobody knows the answer. So I just gave up. Too bad, since this is the closest thing to DCS Blackshark simmers without HOTAS like me can get. Other than this MFD problem, my only complaint is about that creepy Russian girl impersonator controller.

Well I emailed SF Support and they mailed me back. I sent in a screenshot as he wanted to see the issue.. So Hopefully we can get this reolved I'll keep you posted..

It is wierd tho that when I enable NV it works?? why would it NOT just work if it works with NV Enabled???

If you are already talking to them, would you be so kind to ask if they can send over the source code of the graphics engine?
