Just got back from the cinemas, and I'm still in awe... Too many words can describe it... Its one of those films where time disappears and the end comes too soon... A lot of footage that I hadn't seen before and it focused a lot on the battle with Prost and on Brazil... Many of his big moments were covered and the ending is a hard one to get through, as expected when the hero of the story dies... Thinking about going to see the 2nd screening next week...

Top Gear guys said it's amazing and it got an award at the Sundance festival for best documentary.

Can't wait to see it. I watched some great documentaries on Senna, so I am really curious what this one brings to make such reviews.

I was not a fan of Senna when he was racing, but always had enormous respect for his talent.

Just got back from seeing this after is was finally released in the UK. I can only echo what Pumbaa has said. This is masterpiece of filmmaking that uses video clips (many containing behind the scenes footage) which are seamlessly stitched together to give a 'fly on the wall' style narrative. The end result is a film that completely draws you into his world. A truly unique insight that is done in a thought provoking manner and was not afraid to show some of his flaws as well as his genius.

Some parts (naturally) are hard to watch but this makes much of the film very poignant. Fans will get a real kick out of all the unseen footage and there was a lot of stuff in there i didn't know. The run up to the ending gives a unique insight into the events and situations that were affecting Ayrton at that point. Not only is this an excellent motorsport 'documentary' but a remarkable film in it's own right.

Quite simply a beautiful movie.

I'm hoping it releases somewhere near me in the US so I can check it out.
