How can I change the default values for FSX?

I have just bought Air Hauler and because it auto loads FSX, I don't get to set the weather settings...so Air Hauler seems to always be flying in perfect weather (no turbulence or anything).

When I start FSX itself, I have to set the aircraft (it's defaulted to the Microlite), location (defaulted to Friday Harbour), time etc etc...

Also - any other great addons? I have FSX Passengers and Air Hauler - both great little "empire" building addons - so I was wondering about maybe aircraft or scenery/weather? I've heard about REX (weather and graphics update)...

As soon as the FSX screen pops up you can change everything then click Save at the initial screen. Type in default and overwrite.

Ah thanks. I was always saving, but always my own filename.
