I will post this here and on the IL2 site and see what answers we get.

I have a new computer with Win 7 and have run in to a problem or two with older games.

I bought a new disk of IL 2 1946 by Ubisoft and it will not even install.
Some of the games within it worked well with Win XP pro on my old computer.

I just installed an older game by Ubisoft called LOCKON and it works great.

Any Help---- PLEASE!!

For IL-2: 1946, you need to update Securom. Then, don't try to run the Autoplay, but open the disk in Windows Explorer and run setup.exe

Once it's installed, I have a no cd patch that will then cure any further problems with launching the game.
