There was non influence. There are like chiken salad and chicken #%&*$#, similar only by word 'chicken' in them.;-)

There was 0,25 sec delay between quick turn of the steering wheel and reaction of front wheels. The whole so called "physics" was designed to be usable for digital console controllers.

haha

I do not know which is true, but we can hope for something better/improved in this game.

That's it.. thats what i was badly trying to say in myinitial post.. it felt like i was always sliding any time i took a corner. Like a drift game and not a racing game.

Exactly. It is spectacular, I agree. But have you ever seen promotional video that is not spectacular? That's all they have to offer. What people say in these videos is irrelevant. They were paid for their endorsement.

I believe what Darren wrote about involvement of Blimey people in it. Shame that they were briefed and allowed to something completely different that what Simbin wanted them to come up with GTR/GTR2

Simbin were hardcore simracing dreamers that believed in their approach. They released demos for both games. They spend money on making their thing better and not ONLY making it LOOK BETTER on youtube.

Business model of publisher of NFS is: get people excited, get them run to shops on Friday, get them spend Saturday playing, get them put it on shelf
on Sunday... and make them excited about new product to buy on Monday.

Well there IS one more reason to hope that this one will be as good as they say.

These blogs cover the executive at EA that oversees the racing games, including NFS:

He raced in the FIA GT3 series this year. biggrin
