Dear Forum Members:

When playing an air combat sim, I would like to have the cockpit graphics zoomed in so that it will feel as though I am looking out of a real fighter cockpit.

I was curious, does anyone have the actual dimensions of any U. S. military jet fighter aircraft cockpit? I would be interested in knowing two measurements:

1) The width of a fighter's dashboard

2) The width of the front canopy frame (measuring the right side edge of the canopy frame to the left side edge).

If anyone has the real measurements for any fighter aircraft cockpit I would really appreciate knowing what those measurements are.

I would think that this would differ from aircraft to aircraft. Any specific type you were interested in?

Yes, I was especially interested in knowing the measurements for the century series fighters. But knowing the measurements for either the F-14, F-15, F-16 or A-10 would be great also.

This information would really be helpful to me.
