Im looking to spend about £300 and I want to use it for dcs a10, I'd like to stick with intel but Im baffled by the different names of processors these days lol

The 2500k should be around £200.

Motherboards with P67 chipset just above 100 quid:
  • Asus P8P67 LE
  • Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3
  • Asus P8P67
  • Asrock P67 Extreme4

The ASRock is the only one with SLI (besides CrossFire)...but maybe you're less interested in the extra features.


Sub £100 P67 motherboards:
  • MSI P67A-C43
  • Asrock P67 Pro3
  • MSI P67S-C43
  • Asus P8P67-M
  • MSI P67A-C45

Second the 2500k recommendation. You may also find some cheap Intel motherboards. Check out the one I have in my sig. As a combo deal it was just around $100 - that's gotta be around 50-75 GBP. Running like a dream for me.

EDIT: It just occurred to me that I don't have my motherboard listed in my sig! It's the DH67CL.
